You new here? This is the Surf Report, what were you expecting? It is like the Whose Line Is It Anyway?, the entertainment is priceless and the points (P/L) don't count for anything. :)

It should be retitled: Whose loss is it anyway?

  4. Much of that article is falsehoods maybe designed to keep a class war from happening. Or just cherry picked examples to support the journalists contention

Old Warren for example owns multiple homes around the world. His frugal life is a marketing scheme and perhaps even a very smart security measure. I don't know, but it makes sense.

Everyday I look out my window and see dozens of Pershing @5- 25 mm a piece and other high performance yachts running at full throttle burning $500 plus in fuel per hour. Not to mention Numerous private jets and choppers flying overhead.

Stealth wealth is smart but it certainly is far from the way the majority of wealthy live.

These are the golden days, and its only getting better. Why live like a frightened rabbit?

  5. Sometimes you are right, but the majority live wealthy and show it.

AVD sounds like he may have some issues unrelated to wealth.

Truth be told/- bernie lived a very modest life style in comparision to his scammed wealth. His house here is tiny, so was his boats etc-- in comparision to the other wealthy.

That's normal. In a Ponzy system you should always enough cash to pay back the smart people that want to get out. 1 blocked repayment and the Ponzi system crashes.

His house and boat where far too big as he made no money at all. Don't compare a cheater with the other wealhty. It is like comparing a bumb with someone making money.

  7. Yes, correct. But in an earlier post--

Perhaps I misunderstood you. You stated

"He knows a lot of rich people all over the world, but you will never hear anything about this. The real rich stay low profile, not like Bernie Madoff."

Madoff stayed very low profile in relation to the money he had access to.

What do you mean by your statement?

  10. No one is able to pay. One joker even needs to crowdfund.
