50 plus, 2 kids, and young wife living in Palm Beach...now that's over leveraged..I smell an American Greed episode.
I demand $2400 too, compenstation for loss of future profits, fading MarketSmurf's dumb ass YM calls. Although my future profits were going to be much more than this. I will settle for pennies on the dollar in order to save ET from his cancerous posts.
This thread is just sounding like a bunch of dumb gamblers/bets, and insecurities, dick measuring contests, and other juvenile stuff Reminds me of those paintings of hell or the underworld...with all the souls yelling and flailing around.
The time frame specified was permanent and I will put up a crowdfunder page to get the contributions TO BARON. But it will come with a stipulation that a penalty is paid if you pop back in with an alias or a mant...family member or other related person.
Those who show off with their "wealth" in general are not the rich ones. They are the fake ones. I know a faker who bought himself a (second hand) Ferrari 348GBT. One day he had an accident but he had no money to repair the car. So he explained that this Ferrari was not good enough and he would buy a MacLaren. Years later he still has no MacLaren. The only thing he has is millions of new excuses, and a Ferrari wreck. I also know another man who has a decent house and drives a Bentley. He is not part of the "millionaires club". He sold his business for over 2 billion$. But if people take him not serious, which happens every now and then because he looks like simple man, he will show his power. I remember that one day he wanted to buy a huge flat in the beach in a new building. The seller told him: "you know the prices of these flats?" The millionaire answered: "Call your superior." Then the millionaire made an offer on four flats, one for each season. Surf should change his strategy. He should not focus on the "millionaires club" as these people put all the money they have in showing off. They have no money left to invest. But the problem is that the real millionaires recognize people that behave like Marketsurfer. Alexandre Van Damme is the biggest shareholder of Inbev, the biggest brewery group in the world. Net worth over 50 billion Euro. There is only ONE picture available about this man. When he discovered this, he moved to Switzerland for anonymity. He knows a lot of rich people all over the world, but you will never hear anything about this. The real rich stay low profile, not like Bernie Madoff. Name calling and showing off should ring a bell.
I've visited a friend that has that same view from her penthouse, 88th,89th floor. I know what the valuations are. Rally has 100's of times surf's net worth, if surf has a net worth. Rally made it trading mkts. Many have. It's a legitmate income source for those willing to put the time and energy into study. That doesn't insure success any more than practicing music or sports insures developing the skillsets for success in those fields. There's art involved in trading because no matter the position we enter we need an opinion. Those opinions are formed by many factors. People percieve data differently and assign weights to those perceptions. Surf hounds various forums badgering people, declaring their methodologies wrong and presenting himself as knowledgeable, some sort of master of the game. People find it aggravating and demeaning to a site that many of us would like to see flourish. IMO this situation has escalated to a level requiring a negotiator/ facillitator, something I do in my meat space life. If Baron creates an entertainment forum where people can discuss various forms of entertainment, movies, music, shooting ranges, strip clubs etc. and relegates surfs postings and journal to the entertainment forum there will be fewer complaints and surf gets to continue his Walter Mitty act.
Unlike you, I believe in truth. You claim that your delayed posting of exit was due to having an active life. Of course an active trader with a fully leveraged position leaves 1 hour before Market close on a weekend to pursue other activities. That is typical behavior of most traders. Regardless of the fact that you were able to babysit your trade during the day cheer-leading all positive excursions of price doesn't seem odd at all... (you and your alias) As depicted on a chart annotating your Post's on ET Cheer-leading within minutes Exit 2 HOUR's after the last opportunity to exit profitably..
