75% of retail traders at IG Index are still short the Dow (largest CFD provider in the world). This bull run still has a long way to go. Dow 22k coming.
I do. And for real...No matter how much money I'll ever have.....I'll never buy a watch that costs more than $200, a speedboat made in Britain, and I'll certainly never buy pink pants.... but Surf was Surf.... and he added flavor to the mix. Wherever you are Surf... I hope you and the family are well.
It's serious, so you should stop joking about his absence. I heard he's in a coma resulting from the shock of hearing his new baby's first words. "Papa, TA works!!".
You have no clue how markets work mate. 12 days is nothing. I used to market make energy futures and I know the tricks they use to manipulate the weaker hands to get on the wrong side. For the larger players it's all about their inventory and their average price. This is a classical bear trap. carry on shorting mate.
Head 2 Head I would back Volente vs You anytime pal. All you keep saying this market will keep going up, that's not trading, that's market outlook.
good. it takes lots of participants to make a market you get short with Volente and let's see what happens. The retail viewpoint is that you put a trade on with a stop and target, preferably on a short time frame. I am just sharing my viewpoint from the inside the business where you don't have a stop, you are well capitalised, you only are concerned with your inventory and the average price. You only offload your inventory at a bad price if there is a black swan.
Why would I want to follow Vol? I make my own decisions. All I said that I have observed probably hundreds of his calls in the past, prior to your existence on ET and he was great. I am no fan of scaling out, but he seems to have really nailed that strategy. To each his own, just because he could have been wrong on market outlook does not affect his trading ability, I know that because he's proved that over time. He's no noob, nor is he useless at trading, he's well above average.
It is kind of nice though, that although the most disrupting/annoying factor of the Journal, the OP is missing, the conversation is keep going on like nothing happened. Shall I say even better?
