    Surf,

I am telling your strap screaming baby surf in a baby chair ...give him a bottle...ride the roads for 30 minutes. If he goes to sleep and stops screaming then do it again but record all the road noise in the car. Race down to the store and buy one of those wind up rocking baby cradles (i suppose they still make them. Maybe electric now?). Race home with the cradle.. crank it up.....stick a 4 ounce bottle of milk in baby surfs mouth...unless doc says otherwise...play the recording ...and he will soon be to sleep. You can then sleep too. Try it. If ride does not put him to sleep then he maybe have a bacterial infection and need some antibiotics. Or he may be allergic to the milk formula. Some babies need a noise like car noise in the background to sleep. My son as a new born screamed and screamed. I'd stuff i don't know how many bottles of milk in his mouth trying to get him to stop. He would promptly ...in record time ...suck them dry and continue screaming. I would have to take him for a ride in car and he would go to sleep. My daughter screamed from day one but hers was a bacterial infection from the birthing process. My son screamed so much i would just leave him in cradle screaming while i jogged around soccer field next door. He would finally scream himself to sleep..i guess..that is what happened..so many years ago....

Anyway we all survived. Both kids are married. Our daughter has three kids.

    Surf,

Your boy needs things to keep his brain busy. He is annoying himself. Teach him how to trade. He will have no time to cry. If he will cry then it means he lost money in the markets.
But for your wallet it will be better he will cry from hunger or anything else then from losing money. :D

When my son was 6 years old he received extra tasks in school to keep him calm. It continued till the age of 12. Apparently he was too intelligent and school was boring. When he went the first time to school to learn how to read and write, teachers told us (later) that he could already read. It was a big surprise for us as we never teached him anything.

Well now that is a handsome looking young'un. He does appear to be VERY serious minded. Like he has IMPORTANT things to think about. No flim flam about him. Got those little jaws set. Looks like he could intently be staring at a computer screen. Definitley a short-term day trader not one for the monster moves. Must get that mindset from his momma. I predict that kid is gonna be a serious day trader. Don't ruin him with your monster moves stuff...surf...ok..

I remember the kid screaming days with my kids. I rocked and rocked my daughter at night in the living room so my wife could get some sleep. I had my own screaming times when i was born. Dad worked the nightshift at a shipyard and he once said i screamed so much that he wanted to just put me in the chester drawer and close it shut. Fortunately for me he never did. They survived. So did I. Screaming is the foundation for becoming a successful daytrader. See there is a positive side to "noise; market and otherwise."

Surf try the car thing. It could well work. I am serious. But not in your expensive no road noise wheels. Rent or borrow a jalopy car to record the road noise sounds. Maybe something like the car in the picture. You gotta get some serious road noise. Also, i'd bet little surf would calm right down on an extended boat ride in "the beast."

  5. Thanks for the compliments. Yes, he is very serious and looks at people like he is remembering their face to come back and kick their a$$. A little vladmir P. must be in him--

We are experimenting with a myraid of techniques to settle him down. Vibrating rocking bed seems to be working at night for a few hours.

When things get too rough, i put on my RD easy diver, take my laptop, jump off the seawall, and hide out in the surf shack research/trading nook--

Good ole american Ford ingenuity. If everybody on ET would sign up for the raffle one of us might win and we could donate the "car craddle" to the Surf for little Surf. Where do we sign up at?
