  1. Your use of the word guarantee without the qualifiers we agree apply GUARANTEES that well over 90% will think it's a sure thing. That in itself is reprehensible.

I'm sure my opinion would be swayed would I meet you in person; Baron has said you are quite different from your internet persona.

    Here's the rub.

If we ever meet, you will find I am exactly the same as I am on ET. I tell my best friends to fuck off when they are less than worthy of respect due to whatever they do. There is no ET me and another me, just me.

If you are ever in Bangkok, I'll buy you dinner and drinks. I promise I will be a civil host. Beyond that I can promise nothing.

I think the foregoing explains it all.

  2. Its not reprehensible at all. Its part of the market structure and our system says its guaranteed.

But whatever, i'll take you up on your offer as i respect your opinion and ability to articulate it. Whether i agree with it or not.

  3. Well, I very obviously disagree with your use of the word "guaranteed" without the qualifiers that would steer newbies away from losses.

That it is part of market structure and your system guarantees it is immaterial.

The greatest hedge fund managers don't get to say that.

So, I reiterate, your use of the word 'guaranteed' is reprehensible.

    LacesOut

Hucksters of the world are nodding their heads saying "yup that's how we play the semantics game"
"I didn't guarantee it - MY SYSTEM DID".
So that if and when it fails you can say "wuzznt me , wuz the system!"

You probably find yourself on the other side of the regulators of this world, so you don't seem to realize that for those who actually handle the money of others or those who make actual trade recommendations, a 'guarantee' is a ticket to a lawsuit.

More importantly - it makes you sound like a total dickhead. Especially since you have literally lost 8 consecutive trades on this journal since inception.

So good for you for not being subject to the regulatory authorities who would drop your ass in a heartbeat for uttering those words....but then you have the audacity to tell us that you are working on behalf of the newbs?

Dude, the few rookies out there who are stupid enough to get suckered into your web of dishonesty, Don't kid yourself, You aren't helping any of them.....fortunate for you, there's one born every minute.

    Amateur hour. Jesus...

  6. Hold your longs, because BTFD still applies until there is a fundamental policy change.

To protect against headline news, buy thousands and thousands of 1 or 2 cent puts.

In the event of that happening, you will be happy as a hog in shit.

Assuming there are still markets trading and people to deliver on the options you bought.

If there aren't, it's highly likely you wouldn't care anyway, even if you are still around.

When all you need is food and water, your options payoff won't matter so much.

  8. You need to work on those copy and paste skills.

Firstly the daily point difference isn't aligned.

If you had anything more than half a brain, you would see that at a glance.

Well, those who can, do, those who can't, clean toilets.

But really, in all kindness at the sorrow I feel for your being intellectually challenged.

The first price posted is 1712.55, the last is 1689.91, the difference being 22.64 points.

Now, I understand you monkeys have this tendency to jump up and down, howl and rattle your cages when excited.

Surely though 22.64 points from the promised land of 1000 is a little early to be pissing your pants?

  9. My largest and most devastating loss ever happened on the eve of the Iraqi war. We called the date perfectly using rather esoteric and mystical tactics and consulting with experts in this field-- in retrospect it was most likely just a lucky guess.

We shorted the OEX via derivatives with max borrowed money leverage-- I had my house picked out knowing when saddam launched the WMD's the market would collapse. Well, the opposite occurred and my trading mentor and I were wiped out in a single day. I talk about this being a turning point for me in the book.

So, be ready for explosive upside should shots be fired.
