Yeah, no doubt-- i don't get this psychological profiling-- i guess it makes the trolls feel better. Things are looking great today, other than for our one holding that I dare not speak its name.... True. Thanks!!
I takes a systematic personality too. It can be learned, but usually faster with a big hole in your pocket.
Mr. Surf, we again touched the 204xx level. Another opportunity to close out the 10 contracts from the 21087 entry, and go back in short with one or two to capture extra profits? Why don't you understand that YM is like room 237 at this point? CAPTURE SOME PROFITS!
Im a little more patient than True, some of the time! There is zero discretion with systematic trading. If i deviate from the plan by taking profits, it becomes a discretionary system voiding the value of the program. I can't take profits prior to the 1000 point fall from the entry per the system. If u need money, this game isn't for you.
This is where our minds differ on the issue. I see a chance to have taken $30,000 in profit, and go back in to try to get more, while minimizing a reversal with a smaller position. I have tried being bull-headed before about hard profit targets, and it gets rather annoying when the prices start to waffle in the middle of the entry and exit. Especially over the course of a couple of weeks!
I strongly suggest not trading like i do, then. $30k means very little in the systematic scheme. This isn't a game for the undisciplined undercapitalized, scared money, or folks who need money--
lmao! then why did you stop yourself out on all your other "systematic" trades if you didn't need the money? c'mon surf, just be honest....your wife controls all your money and you trade from a paper account
