You make a valid point. I trade such small time frames by the time I type my post the trade is usually over so it becomes history by the time I manage to get it posted. But, if one reads carefully my posts some things will manage to be forecasted. Like the last trade..if it fails at resistance to left then grab 3 points....etc if it continues then ride it up. But it failed and gave a shorting opportunity after the 3 point exit. In other words I managed to get this strategy posted beforehand. But generally you are correct. It becomes history by the time I type and post. But anyway just trying to show what I see and how I trade PA. I still say this is a PB. In ES it is and same for YM. Here is a daily showing Es PB to 20 EMA. Still quite a distance from the 89 SMA on the daily chart. The bull trend is intact. No 1000 point plunge on the horizon...yet. It could happen and if it does I will be on board. Odds are it will not happen. Odds favor a resumption of the bull trend on a daily chart. Nevertheless, I play the hand dealt to me.
Surf now you know nothing is guaranteed to happen in the markets. We deal in probabilities..that is all.
The only guarantee is that you'll continue to make guarantees until one of them them pans out. Only an insider can all but guarantee a profitable swing trade. So I guess the question is do you have insider information or perhaps you are a savant more capable of compiling relevant data than Watson and Aaron Rodgers combined? Second question, have you considered going on celebrity Jeopardy?
I am quite sure "Livermore" has puked by now. If not, he is choking. Ever wonder why casinos go for the small repetitive gains and are happy to do so? Same thing for the machines..the HFT traders and some algos. Happy to make swift, small. tiny profits over and over. They don't worry about the large 500 point drops. Too many machines battling it out to take money from each other. They not interested in you or me. We too poor. The game is an institutional game and they leave their footprints in the sand (i.e. the charts). The poor must follow.

The only certainty we have is that Marketsurfer does not know what probabilities are. Postings about "things that will happen guaranteed" are only made by people who have no clue about trading. Looks like an addicted gambler in a casino in Vegas, that continues to say that he will be millionaire while he is in a continuous losing strike. In short: a dreamer.
