Suretraders

  1. I feel unsafe proceeding with Suretrader as well, however, the biggest advantage and most important for momentum, day trading strategies fast level two execution is a must. Besides Suretrader and Speedtrader I do not know of any other under 5K with no pattern day rule. Please enlighten if otherwise.

  2. SureTrader is for desperate gamblers. Don't have money and want to have a ride til zero there. Really bad broker, brought by shady people with criminal past (re stock schemas). Very high fees if you didn't notice. The platform is good for children. The DAS platform, if you will pay extra for it, is better as its a fast native app (what an uncommon approach *unfortunately*), but this company is again ran by the same shady people. If you forget your short position, they will charge a sky-high fee before eod, and they like to increase this fee at some days (a "bonus"). This bad practise is no existing at good brokers. Research data don't exist. Deposits and withdrawals are expensive as hell and can take a LOT of time. I won't be surprised if this broker will suddenly disappear from the scene, with your money.
If you still want to jump in after reading those reviews out there, there's a problem between monitor and keyboard.

  3. First of all, DAS is owned by Guy Gentile's wife which is the coder of the platform itself or something along those lines. Please use more precise approximation in your information.

"If you forget your short position" - if you forget your short position, you should not be trading to begin with.

Deposits and withdrawls are the cost of trading, as an expense per say. So is day trading within PDT rule.

What is a good broker? From your experience?

After reading the reviews, it makes me wonder if people know what they are doing themselves.

  4. well "forget", you want to play it til eod, they liquidate at random time to collect fees. there's much more of annoyance. none of it happens at a normal broker - that's the strong argument. totally bad broker, i think not worth of discussing. a topic good for iHub scene.
use IB or other legit one.
