Abortion is a war on women
    Sex-selective abortion
For example, a 2005 study estimated that over 90 million females were "missing" from the expected population in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, China, India, Pakistan, South Korea and Taiwan alone, and suggested that sex-selective abortion plays a role in this deficit.

In many countries its already illegal and yet it happens, making the procedure illegal hasn't helped with the situation and you should not pretend it's the reason you support ALL abortions.

CBS News Poll: “The American public is rendering its initial judgment on the overturning of Roe v. Wade, and most disapprove of the ruling, including two-thirds of women who disapprove.”

“By more than a 20-point margin, Americans call it a step backward rather than forward for America. And women, by more than three to one, think the ruling will make women’s lives worse rather than better.”

Justice Alito detailed long-term plan to overturn Roe v Wade in 1985 memo: report
    https://www.rawstory.com/samuel-alito/

According to a report from the New York Times’ Charlie Savage, Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito has been making plans to overturn the 50-year-old Roe v Wade ruling based upon a memo that he wrote in 1985 where he counseled patience during the Ronald Reagan administration.

Alito, who wrote Friday’s decision that overturned Row — and subsequently set off mass demonstrations across the country by effectively turning women into second-class citizens — reportedly “cautioned the Reagan administration against mounting a frontal assault on Roe v. Wade.”

In his 1985 memo Alito, “advocated focusing on a more incremental argument: The court should uphold the regulations as reasonable. That strategy would ‘advance the goals of bringing about the eventual overruling of Roe v. Wade and, in the meantime, of mitigating its effects,” reports the Times Savage.

“Roe was egregiously wrong from the start. Its reasoning was exceptionally weak, and the decision has had damaging consequences, he wrote. “And far from bringing about a national settlement of the abortion issue, Roe and Casey have enflamed debate and deepened division.”

According to the Times report, “In a memo on the cases, Mr. Alito displayed not only tactical acumen but personal passion, taking umbrage with a judge’s objection that forcing women to listen to details about fetal development before their abortions would cause ‘emotional distress, anxiety, guilt and in some cases increased physical pain,” with Alito dismissing their concerns by writing the such concerns “are part of the responsibility of moral choice.”

The Times reports that during Senate hearings on his appointment to the highest court in the land, when the 1985 memo was brought up, he responded, “When someone becomes a judge, you really have to put aside the things that you did as a lawyer at prior points in your legal career and think about legal issues the way a judge thinks about legal issues.”

Maybe not in these midterm elections but by the next full election the Republicans are slowly burying their chances. All the talking points now about inflation and the economy will be irrelevant by then. All the Republicans have succeeded in doing is banning abortions, proliferating guns and violence, and thwarting 95% of any government effort to pass useful laws. Seriously you can't blame the Democrats when almost everything they tried to pass was vetoed by Republicans and two rogue Democrats.

Those who complain that American politicians are useless or corrupt maybe stop electing idiots with these agendas. Reform your system so the minority can't prevent progressive policy and the Supreme court ceases to be a political wing of the Republican party.

A new poll from NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist finds Americans opposed to the Supreme Court decision to overturn Row v. Wade by a 56% to 40% margin, with a plurality strongly opposed and Democrats getting more energized to vote.

Also interesting: “There is a massive split by education — 69% of college graduates oppose the decision while those without degrees are split. Half of whites without degrees support the decision, while two-thirds of whites with college degrees oppose it.”

Wheres the question asking these people what this decision means....I think most people think abortion is now illegal.....
They don't realize that with out Roe abortion will now be unleashed to a new level of barbarism
On demand for any reason at any time.....Roe forced decisions to be made early on in the pregnancy. Now with no limit expect late term abortions to increase.
