At the next justice confirmation the republicans will ask if the court should take rights back from the state legislators and return it to a non elected judiciary

Jia Tolentino: “Support for abortion has never been higher, with more than two-thirds of Americans in favor of retaining Roe, and fifty-seven per cent affirming a woman’s right to abortion for any reason. Even so, there are Republican officials who have made it clear that they will attempt to pass a federal ban on abortion if and when they control both chambers of Congress and the Presidency.”

“Anyone who can get pregnant must now face the reality that half of the country is in the hands of legislators who believe that your personhood and autonomy are conditional—who believe that, if you are impregnated by another person, under any circumstance, you have a legal and moral duty to undergo pregnancy, delivery, and, in all likelihood, two decades or more of caregiving, no matter the permanent and potentially devastating consequences for your body, your heart, your mind, your family, your ability to put food on the table, your plans, your aspirations, your life.”

This is a misleading poll that is being said on every channel

When the question is all or some......as opposed to none.....its a flawed question
Most people are ok with some....very few people are ok with all...
Only 28% of people are ok with 3-9 month abortion

Most Republican in red states are opposed to any exemptions even in cases of rape and incest, not to forget even the 3 month windows is opposed by Republicans even in non Red states, so not sure what you are on about.

Lets be honest here, if you’re “pro-life” you can’t really make those exceptions. You’re pro-life in name only if you’re willing to allow any abortion that could be carried to term otherwise.

The only true “pro-life” stand on allowing some abortions is when the life of the mother is in danger or the fetus is not viable. Any Republican who thinks exceptions should be made for rape or incest isn’t “pro-life.”

But it’s a giant lie anyway. Republicans don’t care about babies and children. If they did we would have universal healthcare and common sense gun laws.
