Thanks for letting me know it still triggers you :D
A far better question is, what would Freud say your parents did to make you such a colossal social misfit and loser... you're a Canadian man in his late 50s and yet to date you have 1,296 posts -- here alone -- about Trump? :rolleyes:o_O

Not to mention that others have said this is not your only ET profile. Really?

You have a perverse view of freedom.

Freedom is the ability to get a cake for your wedding not the ability to discriminate against people.

Freedom is the ability to take you business anywhere you wish to anyone who wishes to work with you.

Freedom is not attempting to force others using the govt or other force to do, say or think what you, your group or your religion demand.

That is why we in America revolted against the Crown.
That is why the constitution is written the way it is.
We have rights and protection for minorities built in.

That is what makes us a great a place to live and be free. Freedom from others telling us what to do and think.

let the the best or worst ideas compete and the best ones win out.

By the way... I realize you are smart enough to know better than what you are writing.

Actually the follow up will be the muslim immigration ban where trump has been hostile to Muslims.

The Supreme court already indicated that it would uphold Trump's Muslim immigration ravel ban. This battle is already in the bag for Trump.

I don’t know how to explain discrimination is illegal to you. If you want to open your business to the public then you have to serve the public. If you don’t want to do wedding cakes for gay marriages then don’t do wedding cakes.

Once again you are out of your depth.

only some forms of discrimination are illegal or not allowed.

If you have a business you can choose how you wish to serve people. A lawyer does not have to take a personal injury or unlawful discrimination cases. Its a choice.

A doctor does not have to do plastic surgery or work for free in a private practice.

A songwriter does not have to write an inauguration song for trump or a march for the KKK. A muslim artist could not be told to write a pro Isreali song.

Why don't you all understand it works in all directions. You don't want govt having the power to force you to do things you don't believe in.

If the govt wishes to proscribe certain behavior or if it wishes to punish you...its laws and actions must conform with the constitution.

I thought the same thing, but apparently narrow is a legal term that basically says the ruling pertains exclusively to this case and should not be used as precedent.

You’re really having a hard time understanding discrimination is illegal.

A little history lesson: religion was used to justify slavery too until slavery was made illegal. Then religion was used to justify segregation until segregation was made illegal. Then religion was used to justify discrimination until discrimination was made illegal.

People will try to abuse the first amendment in order to justify abhorrent behavior until we make that behavior illegal.

In short, if you want to open your business to the public you have to abide by the public laws, including discrimination.
