“The State of Texas’s motion for leave to file a bill of complaint is denied for lack of standing under Article III of the Constitution,” the Supreme Court’s order reads. “Texas has not demonstrated a judicially cognizable interest in the manner in which another State conducts its elections. All other pending motions are dismissed as moot.”

Yep, have already commented. I think SCOTUS missed an opportunity to help heal this country. Even if they considered Texas’ case to be lacking, the act of allowing it to be heard on record along with the Courts opinions would have helped to bring some type of closure.

This country is deeply divided in half, understandably Liberals are elated but the other half are pissed as hell, not over the outcome per say but the manner in the way the election was handled.

SCOTUS could have helped ease the transition with a thorough and detailed decision.

    Life goes on.

First, it was stated in Alito’s dissent that relief would not have been granted even if the case was allowed to proceed.

Second, these cases have already been struck down in various federal and state courts.

Lastly, the Supreme Court is not some political sounding board. They’re not going to let Trump argue a case that has no merit and no evidence before the court.

What crap is this? Half the country (a half who claims to believe in the constitution and American democracy) starts whining about American democracy because their guy lost. And you want the Supreme Court to coddle you like a little child!

    Fuck your feelings.

It is a sad day for the US when we have officially, become a banana republic where laws do not matter. When the US Supreme Court whose job should be to protect the US constitution without fear or favor, they utterly, failed in their duties today. Not even allowing both sides to present their sides and have a hearing? When you go to jury duty, you are told by the judges to listen to the evidence and have an open mind. What is galling in this case is that the judges of the US Supreme Court outside of Alito and Thomas, did not even listen to the merits of the case before handing down their decision. This also, sanctioned election fraud by the Democrats. What is to stop them from changing election rules in Georgia before the runoff elections again? Now, nobody is going to stop them.
