It is clear at this point that the GOP/Tea Party will prevail in November. Then, they will have a choice: play nice and Obama/liberal media will bury them, or be strong, loud and clear that we need to take leadership back and eradicate Obama's incompetent secular socialist policies... which will give them a much better chance to prevail in 2012, not to mention save our country. It's time to fight.

  2. Conservative :
    Roberts - 55
    Scalia - 74
    Alito - 60
    Thomas - 62

    Liberal :
    Ginsburg - 75
    Breyer - 71
    Sotomayor - 56
    (presumptive) Kagan - 50

    Swing Vote: (leans conservative)
    Kennedy - 73

As the court makeup stands right now, the best that Obama can hope for would be a Kennedy or Scalia replacement - Kennedy to replace the right leaning swing vote with a positive Left voting judge, or Scalia, who is so far Right that his car drives around in circles. And unless he goes hunting with Cheney again (I don't think his detail will allow that any more) Ginsgurg looks (seriously, looks) like the most frail of the sitting judges on the bench and with the recent death of her husband, may be a factor in her activities going forward (Since she is the most frail looking of the judges, why is she always forced to stand in the portraits? ) So even if the Dems are able to hold majorities after Nov, there may be little room to change the dynamics of the court for a few years still.

Typical if the leftist can't manage to redefine the words he just edits what others say until till he gets the meaning he wants.

  6. Except that it's neither socialist nor incompetent. Regardless, since bpcnabe was the one who chose to include "secular" in his criticism, I wanted to know what alternative he had in mind for that particular contention, because it is indeed secular. I just chose to ignore the other nonsense becaue it was fluff. You should try it.
