  1. http://www.rasmussenreports.com/pub.../healthcare/september_2009/health_care_reform

Just 41% of voters nationwide now favor the health care reform proposed by President Obama and congressional Democrats. That’s down two points from a week ago and the lowest level of support yet measured.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 56% are opposed to the plan.

Senior citizens are less supportive of the plan than younger voters. In the latest survey, just 33% of seniors favor the plan while 59% are opposed. The intensity gap among seniors is significant. Only 16% of the over-65 crowd Strongly Favors the legislation while 46% are Strongly Opposed.

So after Obama's big address to Congress, and the big media blitz which showed him on 5 news programs detailing his healthcare plan last Sunday, the numbers are still falling and he is losing support. It is do or die time for the dems because if they can't get a decent bill through, BHO will officially be a lameduck. No matter how many children he has singing praise to him, nothing will change that.

  2. When his health care plan craps out what is his next initiative ?

Health care is so large an industry, who will hire him for a paid speaking engagement when he is out of office?

  3. Its not over, but he is in real trouble on healthcare. His other big initiative is Cap and Tax which is DOA in the Senate. For all the hype this guy got, he certainly has not delivered on much.

  4. The Dems will CRAM A PLAN UP OUR COLLECTIVE ASSES... (1) Because they can, and (2) the health care initiative is more a smoke screen than the real deal.. it's really about INCREASING GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION AND CONTROL INTO OUR LIVES...

  5. The goal is to have a single payer healthcare system. It will start as the public option and the dems will slowly expand it until its the only option.
