traded for only 30 min started late around 7:10 AM PST, -$45 had one winning trade one losing, no accidental trades, no uncessary trades just was wrong on one the trades. Can't wait for Monday!
Started trading around 6:45 AM PST, trades sparadically as had many other things going on (personal, not related to trading). Stopped trading around 12:45 PM PST - 30 min before closing as no trades were setting up. Total trades: 10 Winnings: 7 Losing: 2 Breakeven: 1 (by accident got execuited when moving the stop) +$230 for day - less $50 commission, I guess net $180. Account blance $3,825 Feb P/L (-1,175) This is it for now, just focusing on high probability trades, keep repeating to myself <b>"I don't have to take every single trade, it's OK to skip trades. Market will reward patience and disciple but punish for lack of it."</b>
Was placing only limit orders, not a signle market orders. With market swining like crazy market orders getting worset fills. It seemed to me today' YM 89-tick range anywhere from 4-10 ticks. That's vrey volatile to take out my 10pt stops.
1-when will you start trading 2 contracts per trade? 2-are you trading 'real money' or paper trading? 3-do you trade during RTH 'regular trading hours'? 4-how long are you trades for, in duration..how long do you hold them? 5-on average, how many trades 'in and out' per day? 6-what is your daytrade margin abount $300, $500 for the YM etc. 7-only trade the YM?...if yes, why? great trading to you!
I will start trading 2 contacts next week, just need to polish the strategy a bit. Trading real money...very real. Losses real too Yes, RTH Length in trade depends...if it's a runner I'll stay until it runs out of steam. Prolly about 10 ore more trades per day. Not sure what you mean by day trading margein. YM, is better to trade...untill you get really good...then you can use the same strategy for anything.
