    No prob. :)

I was referring to many of the posts in this thread. Our perception of reality is always relative to a point of reference. For example are we an advanced species, or just animals? Relative to what?
    Let's look at time frames:
Relative to 1000 years ago we are far more advanced at least technologically. How about 40 and 41 thousand years ago? or 200 and 201 thousand, B.C.?. Now lets project 1 million or billion years in the future and look back. Would our evolution from 1000 to 2000, look that much different than how we look now the difference between a single cell and a multicellular organism, or an ape and prehistoric humanoid?

Everything is relative, good-bad, high-low, up down etc. You are sitting on your chair typing reading this. But are you still or moving? Relative to your chair you are still, but earth is moving around the sun, and the solar system around the galaxy and the galaxy moves in the universe and the universe..! etc.. so you are moving at an extremely high speed, but again always relative to something else.

The same seems to apply to all things. let's look at some of our science/beliefs. Up to four or five centuries ago, calling the earth round would cost one's life. Just because we haven't found a new science it doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. The only constant in everything seems to be change.

    Infinite possibilities.

  3. Josh. Thank you for clarifying. I couldn't disagree with you more (that is, if I understand what you're saying).

  5. Sigh. I love a good rough and tumble, especially over questions of such ultimate importance. But if God himself declares his wisdom shall appear as foolishness in the eyes of the world, who am I to press.

Gentlemen, this fool wishes you well.

No, not at all Chasin, the man is not looking into the mirror, the mirror is just reflecting the man... It is not even remotely the same as the two Escher pictures that I posted... I suspect as usual you totaly miss the point :)

there are 9 dimensions. We can only see 3

we are not evolving, we are regressing. in 100,000 years, humans will be living in caves, cockroaches will roam the earth.

modern science isn't all that great, WOW we can observe something. The real science was in the creation.

the only difference between animals and humans is that humans have the ability to inquire about their existence and the existence of God. if they don't do this, they are no better than animals. Animals sleep, eat, mate, and defend. So do humans. If you don't do the 5th activity of inquiring about God, you are no better than an animal.

We have to be humble and accept that we are just like an ant. There are things in the universe that we can't and never will understand. Your perception is as flawed as you are.

  10. if time is the 4th dimension, how can you say we can't "see" it? we can't avoid it. as far as i know, we are constantly traveling through space-time at the speed of light. the more motion used in space, the less is available for the time dimension...which is why time slows. and at the speed of light, there is no time.

please elaborate on your not evolving/regressing belief.

    thanks
