  1. Okay, thanks for that. I'll print this one out and think on it.

Though you did spell it wrong... and saying "no offense" after you insult someone is a bit prickish, don't you think? Or perhaps the type of thing a well meaning twit would do.

    No offense, of course. (See?)

  2. Just trying to say keep an open mind, while not trying to be offensive. Sorry about that. kt

Yes and by the same token I believe a monkey and a typewriter could type all the works of Shakespeare - eventually.

  5. Refreshing, insightful, well-written and easy to understand. Let's hope that a certain someone follows your example.

it's friday evening. an old man (smartass, demented) walks into a bar'n'grill (one of those roadhouses where big and hairy trucker types are drinking beer, shootin' pool and having fun - you know ...).

the old man walks over to the pool tables and starts watching some of the fellas at their game for a while and soon enough - without being asked - he starts telling them that they don't know how to play, that they will never be able to play pool the (only real) way it's supposed to be played - and so on. some of the guys stop playin' - turn to the old man and tell him that if he's so smart and so great at this game that he should stop talking and start showing how he does it - since he is obviously the best pool player in the world (fair enough, don't ya think?).

but guess what - the old man doesn't start playing - actually what he does is he moves on with his ranting - telling the hairy types that the way they're shooting pool is unbelievably ridiculous and basically all of them are simply full of shit.

now - how high would you rate the old fart's chances of being able to leave that bar with all of his teeth - or alive at all???
