I propose that the word Cubs, Cubbed, Cubbies, be added to the dictionary. I would have these synonyms: bewilderment at result befuddlement at circumstance perennial loser etc. The idea is that if you get Cubbed, you got the expected result only because you are you, even though it seems improbable, because you are a loser and cursed, but only because you are temporarily Cubbed. You shake your head in disbelief, but then you realize that is the norm. The word would also offer hope, because if somehow you went somewhere else, i.e., you were not a Cub, just the change would uncurse you and turn you into a winner.
