Why should John Doe of Anywheretown, USA have to foot the bill for this bailout?? Of course, the taxpayers WILL have to pay most of it; but I think the penalty should come first to those responsible. The government should identify the top 100 executives who were most complicit in all this, and make them paupers. Sue them for $10 billion a piece! That should clean them out.
