its really great that you can spell losers, as im sure its a word your very familiar with......but unfortunatley for you....all those spelling bee trophys wont help u be successful in the markets, but then again you already knew that
The most successful people I know don't have to brag about how profitable they are (spelled with one 't', sorry) and call other people losers. The people I know who are truly successful look for ways to help others become so, and in doing so, give back what they've been given. But those are just the successful people I know, I'm sure the ones "Vox" knows are much different.
keeptradin...its obvious that your no intuitive giant so im going to explain it to you...... i never did ANY bragging about how successful i am....i know that your reading comprehension isnt the best so i'll pardon your ignorance......and no....i disagree with you entirley....most very successful people are primarily concerned with their own success.... you have a dilusional perception of very successful people where by you think that there all very altruistic by nature which for the most part is an absolute crock.....encouraging?? maybe....helpful??? if your lucky.....but look for ways to help others etc....how naive......if their very successful...they dont have the time to 'try tofind ways to help others become successful' you obviously dont know many successful ppl.....
just like everything else, theres all kinds of people out there and so there are all kinds of successful traders. we tend to remember and look up to the ones that are generous and help; while we forget those who are all about themselves. Not like that matters to the latter but generosity is always appreciated.
Now you are really pathetic. You started the thread with a brilliant observation about the randomness of the market, but now it seems you really have not learned anything from your stupidest decision. No one is saying daytrading is easy, and no one will think less of you because you found out through your own experience that it is tough and not so much fun to daytrade. No one will call you a loser if you just said, OK, it is not for me, and move on and explore swing/position trading as you say you love market. People will respect that. Why come back and challenge people to defend daytrading as a worthwhile career? If you have already have your mind made up, then you should really spend your energy on developing your system to trade off the volatility generated by daytraders and make money. Or use your skill to get a career in the corporate world--there is nothing wrong with that. Why come back to ask people to confirm your view of daytrading? Just so that you can feel better about going back to a job? Remember, people who rely on others views to trade will never be successful traders. It just seems that you have such a psychological need. Just enjoy being a spectator and chuckle at the failure rate of daytraders if it makes you feel better. Good luck. tc
You are far more intelligent than I could ever dream of being Vox. Your ability to know so many things about me from my post is astounding. As I said, the successful people I know personally, and know of through accounts of their works, behave in the manner I described. Names like Oprah Winfrey, Bill Gates, and Tom Watson (he's a golfer) are just the first three that come to mind. But I know it's pointless to debate this topic with someone of your superior intellect, so I will cease doing so.
