Stupid Sony - need help on hard drives

  1. On a non-trading computer, I have a Sony Vaio Desktop that handles my junk stuff. For whatever reason, Sony set this up with 2 hard drives (C and D). C is the main one and they allocated a whole 14 gig to it and there's over 120 gig on drive D.

The problem I have is this - my C drive is full and this is the main one that windows reverts to. I've tried deleting old programs, but it didn't really free up much space.

Is there anyway to turn my D drive into my C drive easily?

What other ideas or suggestions do you have?

    Thanks!

  2. There is a program called Partition Magic that will do that. I *strongly* suggest backing up your important documents to a DVD-R before using it. It works flawlessly 99% of the time but better safe then...well you know ..
