Well, I am a Mint customer, we shall see if the price increases or the service gets worse.... "T-Mobile's CEO Mike Sievert assured customers that Mint's current $15 per month plan would remain in place " According to Wiki RR had a 20-25% stake, so that is 270 MM. I actually wonder if Mint was profitable or just getting a bunch of users for a buyout?
Hey, a bit off topic, but how has your service been with Mint? I am thinking of switching from Att to someone else. We are having coverage and service issues the past year that have hit the point of too annoying. Honestly the customer service has actually been good to deal with, but the coverage seems to be going downhill. We are hitting areas where reception has gone away and even in our house I will miss calls or texts won't send. Not sure what they did, but something is wrong and no one seems to have an answer. Our oldest has Verizon and starting at the beginning of this year he is starting to have problems with them. We aren't living in the boonies, so it really doesn't make sense, other than they cut back on something and it is affecting their service areas. Thanks
Can't complain. Mind you I do my internet stuff on laptops, not via phone like today's generation. So I never use up the monthly 4Gb given. For coverage they already use T-Mobile's network, so that is pretty extensive. You can just try it out for 1 (or 3?) months and if you don't like it, you drop it. No contracts signed. Just check first if your phone is on their list of approved phones. If not you can get one of their base phones for cheap and try that out. I never understood why people pay 40-50 bucks per family member per month for a stupid phone.
Thank you, I am pretty sure I checked the phones we have using the IMEI and they should be good to go. We don't even have an unlimited plan currently. I think it is 12 Gigs with rollover and I don't think we have even used all that and not had a rollover of minutes even 1 month. I have 2 of 3 kids still on our plan, as I am a moron and told them I would cover it until they got out of school. One has a semester left and the other is in year 2 of however frickin long a PhD takes. Thank you again for the input.
