    That's not the point. A coach doesn't have "complete control", a quarterback doesn't have "complete control", when you trade the market you don't have "complete control". That's a silly, impossible criteria for determining whether someone should be held accountable. But here's the reality -- if the economy is going well the president gleefully takes the credit, so if it's going poorly then he will get well-deserved criticism (just like the coach, quarterback and trader). That is the way it is and the way it should be, no matter who he blames or how he spins it, and whether or not he's man enough to take responsibility.... whether he's man enough to say The Buck Stops Here.

  4. That's a problem I have with W. He's not man enough to say that.

    Catch his speech in Arkansas today? It was all "write your congressman and tell them you want to pay lower taxes" or "if congress passes my tax cut, then we'll all be better off."

    He constantly passes the blame around for problems that are partly his own. He's saying that its the fault of the Congress that the economy is fubar'd because they are not accelerating his tax cuts.

    Typical spoiled rich kid behavior. It's never his fault. Nope.

    This is unreal...
