Sorry that this is such a dumb ass question but the decimal points are screwing me up. Hypothetical trade: Assume one is long the EURJPY and it moves from 161.669 to 164.711 for a total profit of of 3.042. What does that mean in profit per contract, assuming trading in US dollars? Again, sorry for the stupid question but I'm not a forex guy and I'm trying to explain the international currency market to a coworker of mine. Thanks
http://fxtrade.oanda.com/tools/fxcalculators/profit_calculator.shtml It's essentially a $3,042 profit per 100k units traded.
