More likely your plugins are causing the issues. I'm using a Chrome based Opera on a 2-core ultrabook and the site barely uses CPU. EDIT: Tried it without uBlock Origin and you're right, it's a CPU hog. Most of the websites are barely usable without some kind of a content/scripting blocker.
Try Opera, Chome based but with a much better interface. Moved away from Firefox recently and never looked back.
Of course as they try to get all information they can find on you. So I practically never use Chrome, nor their search engine, nor google maps.
One tick Range charts seem to really affect my CPU. But I do not have that powerful of a computer. I returned my new 12 stick Windows 10 machine and fixed my old one. I noticed chrome with all of those tabs I have... loads slowly. When I was demoing NT7 with a lot of charts and custom indicators/automation after a while it would slow down. I do not know what the best trading computer is? But I want one of those 32" screens! (not curved) I should prolly call "Century Link" someday and upgrade my speed. Es
I use Firefox on a two computers, both have i5 and Windows 10 and this site does not contribute much to cpu usage on either.
The problem is browsers ruining each website as it's own background process. Opera was the last holdout (ok...that autocorrectrd to "Hodar", and I like that better) on this front, but sadly it swallowed the Kool-ade too. If anyone knows a browser that runs as a single process, let me know!
