  1. Worse... they piss-and-moan that they "want more" and are outraged that they weren't "given even more and sooner".

As someone from Canada where we do require an ID to vote, I just cant understand how anyone could make the argument for no ID needed unless they are benefitting from that scenario.

Somehow people here are able to get in and vote with no problem, I just cant understand how any adult could get by in society today without a single piece of legal ID, the only reason dems are so against it is because they know it benefits them, if these votes were going republican they would be all for having an ID.

  3. Just like if the illegal border crossers were white South Africans who would immediately vote republican, they would be demanding a huge wall. With solar.

There's a reason for that thinking and it's because it's the truth. Honest to goodness, the folks in this country that need their taxes raised are the poor.

Nobody in the republican party is in favour of cutting the kid in the bottom off of food stamps, but republicans have realised that it is a farce, when they set a work requirement for food stamps up in Alabama, 90% of people dropped off of food stamps. The problem with liberals is that you always try to make it as if any cut, and someone is going to starve to death, when clearly these programs are being abused.

I read a quote the other day that summed it up best, "safety nets are designed to save people who fall, not people who choose to jump."

  7. Just had to look up the county that you say is 95% republican and with one google search I found it to be bullshit.

    http://elect.ky.gov/SiteCollectionDocuments/Election Results/2010-2019/2012/statcnty.txt

3,510 registered voters. 925 are democrats which is just over 26% so we can't really trust the rest of it no matter what you say.

But what we can see is that this is a tiny tiny county. But if we look at a larger area and go by states, then you see Oregon, one of the most tree hugging liberal blue states in the nation actually has the highest SNAP rate usage while Wyoming one of the most cowboy red republican states has the lowest Snap usage.

Handel does not support a "Living wage" at places like mcdonalds, because all it does is force people out of jobs and further speed up inflation, if mcDonalds pays employees 15 bucks an hour then a meal at mcDonalds will be 15 bucks, its a circle jerk. There will always be an oversupply of people who are able to work at places like mcdonalds, and no matter how much you raise minimum wage, the cost of living will just follow suit, leaving them in the exact same spot as before. There is not enough housing out there to support everyone making 50k a year, the housing prices will just double right along side the minimum wage increase.

When i was in highschool me and everyone i knew on my hockey team worked at mcdonalds for minimum wage because our coach owned all the mcdonalds in the city, it was a good learning experience, and it taught me i sure as fuck dont want to be doing that the rest of my life.

Now when you go to a drive through at mcdonalds no one even speaks english, these jobs are not supposed to be jobs you aspire to create a life on and live the rest of your life at while you raise kids, they are entry level jobs, meant for highschool and college kids who want to enter the workforce. The bottom line is if you want the wages at McDonalds to go up just quit taking in immigrants willing to work those jobs for next to nothing, and wages will have to go up. McDonalds in Canada is one of the biggest places getting unskilled laborers into the country to on temporary work permits, and the reason is because they are the only ones willing to work full time on those wages. If you want wages at McDonalds to go up cut the supply of labor, and wages have no choice but to go up.

When i was in highschool i felt rich making 800 bucks a month working 30 hours a week cause it was alot more than anyone else had, it was a valuable learning lesson, and it helped by putting something else on my resume where I had no work experience to that point.

Also liberals want to raise the minimum wage to 15 bucks at real restaraunts and bars where the vast majority of the servers wages comes from tips, all they are doing is pricing people out of a job, that is a massive hit to real restaraunts and bars where the margins are already razor thin, all the bars are going to do is hire 1 server for a section instead of 2, or else up the price of their drinks, so raising minimum wage did absolutely nothing, infact it screws the less competent/good looking server.
