Study: stock market crashes are usually followed by more short term weakness before bottoming

  1. 3% is not a crash!!!!
WTF is with this shit? Thread after thread about today’s “crash”!

Was nobody here trading before March 2009??? Markets aren’t supposed to go up everyday for 9+ years.

    Today was an orderly selloff.
No margin calls, no desks blowing up, no HF’s forced to sell to meet redemptions.

Days like yesterday are great opportunities. I don't trade off the price action of a single day but my chances will come soon enough.

I guess the people who act on stories like these are the "weak hands". Or what we call in England the punters - the guys who just take a punt on a share cos they like the name and bung a couple of thousand in and look at it when they remember during their next day off from the office and see if its up and sell it if it is and sell it if it isn't.
