I never said I had no losses, but I was net profitable in my first year already. If I did not show potential my bosses would have surely cut me off the program.
GRULSTMRNN, good grief have you slept or have you spent the night gnashing your teeth at the prospect at people making a living day trading? You have made a convincing argument on one very strong point, you are incapable of being a day trader. It's not that you are simply a cantankerous asshole, I've know some of those through the years and have learned pieces of the profession from them. No GRULSTMRNN, you have the need to be right and I have never known anyone who trades for a living with the need to be right. A trader has to be entirely flexible and able to change direction in an extremely fluid and fast moving environment. The good news is your convictions will keep you out of an arena in which you would stand no chance. All the best to you 'tho, I am done with this silly and pointless argument.
Thank you.....you made money your first year so you PROVE THE STUDY IS BULLSHIT. Thank you for agreeing with me.
Thank goodness trading is only "virtually" impossible... 'cause if it were "literally" impossible, we'd all be f*d.
Except I trade the lowest latencies each day, fullt systematized. And no, I don't have to be right, but I have to be logical and make sense. And when someone comes up with a logical argument that is coherent and counters my point then I happily reconsider. Always done so, see my previous posts where I can easily admit when I erred. Here are some people who violently insist that someone with zero trading potential can turn themselves through some self help books and screen time and chart studies into a profitable trader. Outright ludicrous. PS.: and you are flexible? Ever considered other users may work in different time zones?
Its ok you proved with your personal experience the study made a bullshit claim using erroneous data sets. Thank you.
Most in this thread probably do not trade Brazilian Equity Futures. I know I do not...not worth debating about the study. wrbtrader
anything unique about Brazilian Equity Futures? I am keen to trade that but I don't see the Brazilian Futures data is available in Esignal Charting software. I don't think it is easy for foreigners to trade as I don't see that being available in IB or any other broker.
