Gord, David Frum coined the term "axis of evil," and you can read more about the neo-con policies in the book he co-wrote with fellow neo-con Richard Perle in 2004 - where they defend the Iraq War. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Frum That you find their arguments compelling is absolutely mind-boggling to me...
Another thing that is evident with neo-conservatives is how religion resonates throughout their practical policies. Case in point, the book of David Frum and Richard Perle is titled "An end to Evil: How to win the War on Terror"... The phrase "An end to Evil" is purely religious - NOT political. The rest of the title "How to win the War on Terror" is about politics... http://dir.salon.com/story/books/review/2004/01/30/frum_perle/index.html This comes down to the age old enemies in the Middle East that they want to destroy, and the situation of Israel with their thousands of years of conflicts that so strongly reverberates in neo-conservative ideology.
I don't agree with their arguments. I don't know what their arguments are. But if you say they agree with me, then I guess they saw what I saw. Nice though how you changed the narative of my post from the evidence I offered to your fixation on neocons being workers of the devil. But I am not surprised. From what I have seen of your posts you are always weak on facts and evidence, but strong on rhetoric and clichés...
Gord, I am not religious - and I don't think of anyone as "good or evil." As for specific actions - those are different. See the writings of Isaac Asimov and Mortimer Adler for some insightful stuff. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secular_humanism http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Two-level_utilitarianism http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metaphilosophy That you agree with the neo-con distortion of reality is just saddening. Neo-cons are shifty characters, who work "both aisles" easily - they are more into power and impact - utter selfishness.
Right - Osama is just misguided. I told you I don't agree with this neocon boogieman you have erected. But you are nothing if not thick...
