Hello all, I am just starting this journal as a means to keep myself on track in terms of studying and hopefully get some discussion going. Posting the books I am reading and the progress. Right now I am going to work through "An Introduction to the Mathematics of Financial Derivatives 3rd edition" by Neftci. If anyone wants to post some interesting books they are reading or discuss one of the topics relating to mathematics feel free to post. I am completing my FRM and CFA in the next month though so I will probably be slower this month.
FRM = Financial Risk Manager CFA = Chartered Financial Analyst Both professional designations widely recognized and respected in industry...
Mathematics and Statistics for Financial Risk Management (Wiley Finance) by Michael Miller is another great book and has practice questions too if someone is trying the learn. The first few chapters are very basic but a nice foundational book.
