How do you know theirs is not? LOL It's not the terms that they know that's important. It's what they do with it that is important. And they got that by practicing and not by knowing some complicated fancy terms. Just my opinion. You want to spend hundreds of dollars learning the same knowledge that you can learn from a comprehensive website that explains everything in a clear and concise manner for free? Go right ahead. To each their own.
Almost everybody pretend to understand what he refers to, but nobody care to answer your questions...
I agree that experience is very important, but what I was getting at is that while Investopedia does contain a lot of useful information, it is for the most part a basic site and for someone to be a good trader, especially for short term trading and definitely for options, they would need a lot more knowledge than is available on Investopedia.
But I am telling you this is NOT true. Don't be fooled by all those fancy terms that seem to speak "sophistication". The "basic site" is all you need to succeed in short-term trading and actually Investopedia.com is NOT just a "basic site". If you go through the entire site and finish reading all of the articles, you will see it covers more complicated concepts and explains them in real unambiguous and understandable terms that people actually use, not in something that only exists on elitetrader.com. Do a Google search on the terms that are mentioned here in this thread, you will see that the search results only return this thread from elitetrader.com and nothing else which confirms that these terms do not exist anywhere else; it's "proprietary". LOL Like I said, you want to pay hundreds of dollars to learn some "proprietary" terms that may or may not help you in your trading, that's your choice. It's your trading career, your money.
Btw, how much are suckers paying for Todd’s class? So Todd is making money from teaching instead trading?
Well, if you only care about vertical and horizontal spreads like iron condor and calendar. But everyone wants to know the exotics, things that no textbook covers. In another word, they're looking for the holy sizzling grill (sic, but you knew that was coming).
All of Dest's Mates come in shaking their Heads "yes, yes yes" like Royal Family inbreeds trying to look superior, Ken even got off of his Sex Dolls long enough to call us all Wankers, but none of them are sure what Dest is saying either.
