I determine this study to be stupid and my dog agrees.

 

Living with a pet decreases stress levels, so it is still a good thing. Humane societies ran out of pets in the lockdown.

 

I think I saw this same study in a veterinary journal although it was captioned:

"Living with a human increases your dog's chances of contracting covid-19."
