Is there price movement on most every bar? If yes, then it can be traded. There is no noise. Noise is a perception people have and is based on erroneous concepts and a lack of being able to capitalize on movements labeled as noise.

    Hi there!
I ve noticed this topic concerning al brooks. I love him and his incredible material! I m studying the 3 books along with the video course and I m absolutely hooked by this true masterpiece.
I d like to ask you a question though.
Are the three books able to give me the proper skills to trade or the video learnings should be prefered?
    Thanks for reading me. :D

His videos are easy to understand and are very clearly presented. While I don't consider myself to be strictly a chartist, I do use them as tools, especially intraday. Brooks's method is very solid and every day the price action principles he covers in his course play out over and over again in actual real world market action. While I love to read and I do enjoy a good book, I prefer video presentation when it comes to chart-based materials. Since you appear to have his books and his videos, try both, and see which you prefer.

The books are comprehensive but many will find the video course easier to negotiate, especially for those not use to slogging through technical text. You can get a wealth of ideas for trading strategies based on detailed examination of price development and behavior from Al's work but you will have to develop your own skills through work, study and testing....and usually personal development. Be patient and work hard, there is no easy path to trading prowess.

    Hi there,
Thank you both for your kind answers!

The video courses are brilliantly developed. It s able to understand and pretty clear so absolutely valuable.
The thing is that i ve been more devoted to the books because of internet troubles . So when i say study i mean read the books seriously over and over and i ve been discipline enough to do that. I ve completed several "rounds" . So, do you think it makesme ready enough to trade or should i wait the end of the video course study?
Excuse me for the mistakes in the messages , English isn t my native language.
Again thank you very much for helping me!.

You are doing the study and that's essential but you still have to decide what setups go in your trade plan and test that plan to KNOW that you have an edge. You then have to make sure you have the discipline to take your signals and follow the rules of the trade....no moving stops, no exiting before a pre-defined target(s), no adding to losers, no revenge or impulsive trades etc etc. Don't be in a hurry to trade, you HAVE to be ready.
