I disagree with what they're telling you :)

Time & sales will show that other traders were making trades @ 66.525. Why are you not allowed to place an order there? You may not get filled as there would be a large stack of orders there but your order shouldn't be completely rejected.

The short amount of time it traded below would have gotten you out.

Then I have a case against IB? hehe. I kept hitting the ask. I was willing to pay the spread but they still didn't let me out...

Even if I bought at the limit up price my losses would still have been minimal(a few hundred bucks). Yet they didn't let me out. Now I face an unknown amount of risk.

    fckers.

Tonight made some money trading MGC and NQs. Night session to make some money to buffer tomorrow's lean hog(oct) futures. what may come.

Ironically, I actually like the night session. It's much slower. I get filled at better prices too. I need to try to do the early morning session. Some of the best moves in NG happened before 6:30AMPST. but i'm not usually up for that. Capitalizing some of the moves in the early morning and in the RTH on NG will hopefully eventually get me to the $4K-$5k/day

And NQs? Stop messing with instruments you do not understand, and now you are playing with NQ in the night session? Geez trader, yer a rebel!

Haven't you been pounding the table for me to trade MGCs? I just traded MGCs and made some.

To be honest, all chart patterns are the same regardless of instruments.

The reason why I lose in new instruments is because I did not execute my proven edge/setup. Not because of the underlying.

Having said, the main differences are

    1) speed
    2) volatility
    3) liquidity
    4) microstructure details

I know that's a lot of differences. but from an UNLABELED chart, I couldn't tell you if it's one instrument vs another. the patterns all look the same.

Maybe if I hide the names and the axes and pretend everything is NG then I can trade everything... just a thought experiment

And you traded NQs in the overnight hours, and are in an overnight position with HE. Yes, yes, the MGC is great. I am happy you are finally realizing it. But I watched you type your stress about being caught in the HE limit situation.

Trader, man, I am sorry, but I have to resign my post of your first mate here. We are entering the most volatile time of the year, the 4th quarter. And Trump is full-on crazy mode with trade. You MUST be careful now. Use stops. Use caution. And be well. Capital preservation will get you through the tough times.

Don't be like that. Your encouragements and videos are what get me through the day. I know the overnight HE situation is perilous. But what's wrong with trading NQ if there is a little bit of a movement overnight.

You think there will be a limit up/down situation in NQ in the after hours session? Maybe. But the chances are low.

Get back on board the Starship Enterprise! We will steer through these volatilities and make some coin! Ok, mate?
