TM: >I asked a simple question about the baseball, Please show me the question that you asked me about a baseball. JB
Actually, I was laughing at the idea that the earth and the universe may have been around for billions and billions of years.....but 50 years of testing tells us all we need to know.
TM: >Actually, I was laughing at the idea that the >earth and the universe may have been around for >billions and billions of years.....but 50 years of >testing tells us all we need to know. Hey, you've only been here perhaps slightly more than 50, perhaps slightly less, but you know what's gonna happen when you jump off a cliff. It doesn't take long to learn the easy stuff. And "all we need to know" are your words, not mine. JB
Heres a test for you and Gordon: take a baseball and put it near some feathers and some tacks.....if we came back and measured the distance two years later would they be closer? how about a million years later?
>Heres a test for you and Gordon: take a baseball and >put it near some feathers and some tacks.....if we >came back and measured the distance two years >later would they be closer? how about a million >years later? And rather than "avoid" as you say, I immediately responded with questions of my own since your proposal is very vague. Like. A. how far is "near"? B. "measure" what "distance? -- between tacks, feathers, ball and feathers, etc. Have you answered those questions? -- didn't think so. See, you don't ask clear questions and then I ask for clarification and you call that request "avoidance". JB
there you go insulting again....why is it that if somebody does not agree with you they are ignorant or this or that???? for the record I have been here less then 40 but more then 30 BTW you can just hit the quote button to capture a post and reply.
a) less then an inch b) distance between the larger object ( baseball) and the smaller ( feather, teck)
TM: >there you go insulting again.... Hmm...can't find the insult in that post (and I know one when I see one). You must be referring to the "jump off a cliff" thing which was just a quick gravity related item that I knew you would have learned not to do in only a few years on earth. If *that* is what you call and insult it was unintentional (as opposed to my others) and you should grow some skin. JB
TM: >a) less then an inch >b) distance between the larger object >( baseball) and the smaller ( feather, teck) Thank you. Ignoring other forces (wind, intervention, shifting plates), there would be no change in the distance no matter how many years you wait. JB
TM, it's interesting that you are soooo sensitive to "insults", but yet don't mind being dishonest and accusing other of posting things that YOU actuall posted. HMMMM JB
