When teachers see ignorance they educate. When those filled with ego and hubris think they see ignorance they practice ridicule and condescension.
Ive noticed that every time you are defeated or perplexed in a debate, you quickly either insult, or call the other person 'ignorant' or fail to answer the question or give your theory.....just so you know, you are cracking me up with all your definitive answers about the universe......im curious how much of the universe you have actually seen? Im willing to admit that i do not know for sure many of these answers, I just think its amazing how you know so much about all these gravitational forces through out the universe......it may be true....but we don't know for sure do we? its all theory.......do this tonight....stand outside your house when its dark and take a long look at every star and planet in the sky ....now think about how far away you are from billions of galaxies and stars and planets and even light from explosions that happened god knows when.....and then come back tomorrow and tell me how much ANY of us know about gravity, life and mass......The baseball thrown in space is a theory.....that's all it is....we haven't done it...we don't have pictures or movies of them being thrown and tracked for a million miles....the closest thing we have is haley's comet coming by every so often....the hubble? other satellites? they offer info and hopefully answers...but if you think about how many people and objects have actually been into space it is so minute compared the the vastness of the universe...everything else is just a look through a telescope and a theory
>Ive noticed that every time you are defeated or >perplexed in a debate, you quickly either insult, >or call the other person 'ignorant' No, I am quick to call ignorance "ignorance". I am certainly not perplexed and until you stop avoiding questions and learn to ask some that make any sense at all there will be no danger of being defeated. >or fail to answer the question or give your theory.. Once again, ask a question and then when I don't answer you can accuse me of avoiding it. Right now I have a whole LIST of questions that I have ask you directly that you have avoided. Shall we go back through the record and compare? Shall we? >I just think its amazing how you know so much >about all these gravitational forces through out the >universe......it may be true....but we don't know for >sure do we? its all theory.. No, it's not just theory, the principles have been applied repeatedly and predictably to man made objects in space for going on 50 years now. >The baseball thrown in space is a theory.....that's >all it is....we haven't done it. No, and it hasn't been done with a wad of paper or a hair clip or a toaster oven or the muffler bracket from a '69 Chevy either, but is HAS been done with plenty of man made objects to predictable results. To hold on to the precious baseball as 'having never been done so no one knows' is simple ignorance. JB
bite me bitch!. ...or better yet, prove me wrong but all i ask is that for all this space talk we apply the same burden of proof that is required for the existence of god.
Of course they are theories. They may be correct or incorrect theories from an absolute or relative perspective, but what the scientiest is "supposed" to do is not invest themselves emotionally in these theories. Is that what we see here? People embracing scientific theories as explanations to life unemotionally? If there is no emotion, why is there such a charge of emotion against those who don't follow their path? It becomes a value judgement for these people, which science is completely lacking in the ability determine when it comes to human behavior. What I see is emotional attachment to these ideas and theories similar to what we see with theists and their emotional attachment in their realtionship with God.
50 YEARS??????? LMAO!!! interesting... btw..I asked a simple question about the baseball,,,you presented several variables instead of answering it.... but you proved my point again..... What a quote, so based on the events of the life of Jesus and his interaction and documented feats on earth.....you would be ignorant in not believing in Jesus and God???
TM: >i ask is that for all this space talk we apply the >same burden of proof that is required for the >existence of god Well, you keep saying that but you keep avoiding... THE TEST http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=433583#post433583 Let's get ready to rumble. JB
Me; >No, it's not just theory, the principles have >been applied repeatedly and predictably to man >made objects in space for going on 50 years now. TM: >50 YEARS??????? LMAO!!! interesting... Please tell me your version of when man began firing objects into space and observing the results? JB
