Be careful with too much of the Bs. Even though they are water soluble, I read somewhere that excess consumption of certain B vitamins can potentially cause neurological damage.
I think most who say they don't trade over lunch will tell you they've proven to themselves again and again that they have a negative expected return over that time period, so they don't fell like they're missing anything. If you happen to catch a trend early, and are able to ride it through lunch, great. But not everyone is a trend follower.
A simple solution I would suggest is to simply take a 5-10 min break every hour. Get up, go outside, do whatever, just get away from the screen for a few mins every hour. That is, of course, unless the PA is going wild and requires concentration. But at times like these, it is not difficult to stay focused anyways.
warm up a large cup of soy milk Add 1 tbls pure peanut butter and stir till dissolved Add 2 scoops whey protein powder and stir thoroughly Add 4 tbls instant oats Add some raisins and almonds. Eat as a cereal one hour before you start trading. during your lunch break, knock down 2 large bananas. This will keep you in "inspiration mode" for 4-6 hours. Repeat for every trading day. On off days get the heck away from a computer screen, preferably do some powerful aerobic activity including sauna and steam. Lick some good fresh pussy at least once a week and 5-10 mins. after penetration, go prehistoric and fire away like you're at war, keeping your eye on an ugly picture so you don't unload too quick; if your wife shows up, fck her too. Your dick will then not interfere with your weekly trading; you will therefore be on a total single cylinder engine at 2.5k revs/m - the best way to trade. Then on sunday evening, get a 2 hr. full body massage with particular attention paid to the neck and shoulder area; then just watch a good movie and relax, sleep early. goodluck
For me its not that I don't trade after 11am I just know that high probability setups aren't usually around during this time for my strategy, so I'm a lot more cautious and I question moves alot more, also trade with smaller size. Volume is a lot lighter, more algo's to battle against. If you do trade you have to give your trades more room, and be even more patient with your winners. With that said if I get into a trade that I think I'll hold most of the day I'll keep it through lunch, usually just won't add to the position. Best times for me to trade is 9:30 - 11am & 2pm - 4pm... I haven't ever had a problem staying focused, maybe just get up and take short 5 min breaks, but you should be able to stay focused for 2hrs at a time without 5hr energy... Or try Adderall? ha "Be impatient with losers, overly patient with winners"
If you're a broad, you're under a tree with your legs wide open hoping and praying they'll fall where Napoleon lost his entire army.
*go prehistoric and fire away like you're at war* you know I am going to print this out and laminate it, this is some damn good advice. my struggles are over.
You will call me crazy but I am more focused with a pen in my mouth. My brain identifies it as "work" or "focus" mode. It is an habit since childhood. Everyday I first drink a coffee then put a pen in my mouth. I really need it for opening and closing period when you must be concentrated and fast.
I think this is what NLP calls anchoring or conditioning. Much like Ivan Pavlov's experiment with the drooling dogs on the sound of bell even though no food was present. I am glad you found what works for you. I tried something similar, but so far with mixed results. Being a long time Buddhist, I tried to replicate my home office for a zendo. So I burn incense, ring the zendo bell at the start of the session, play Buddhist monastery chants. Even tried to sit crossed legged, but the damn office chair is too small. Thank you for sharing.
