GMCR...very good numbers GMCR posted 48 cents in EPS, against expectations for 38 cents. Revenue came in at $647.7 million against expectations for $629.35 million. The company raised its 2011 EPS guidance to range of $1.43 to $1.50, above the $1.25 consensus estamte and its previous guidance of $1.19 to $1.29. âWe believe healthy post-holiday in-store brewer inventory levels and positive word of mouth from enthusiastic Keurig owners combined to help drive a very strong fiscal second quarter for GMCR,â said CEO Lawrence J. Blanford. Green Mountain said it would offer 7.1 million comon shares in a new public offering, including 403,883 shares by people who already own stock. âThe Company intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to repay outstanding debt under its credit facility and for general corporate purposes.â
GMCR...last Q went up about 20%.......tons tons of short to squeeze..to $85 easily...look at HLF today on good earning..
OPEN....beat eps and revenue OK too..down huge because of CEO leaving..shorts wil cover and will go higher...fundamental is good. Eatablished software companies do not need the CEO there that much...replacement is easy....
OPEN............CFO taking over...insider so no big deal.. Shares of OpenTable (OPEN) are down are down $5.10, or almost 5%, at $99.90, after the company reported revenue about in line with expectations, EPS above estimates, and said it appointed a new CEO. Q1 revenue rose 59%, year over year, to $33.7 million, slightly ahead of the average $33.5 million estimate. EPS of 28 cents was 5 cents better than expected. Separately, the company said it appointed CFO Matthew Roberts as its new chief executive, replacing Jeffrey Jordon, who will become executive chairman.
