spread held up nicely today! entered at 18.12 17.93 today up 19 cents per share.. with dow down 336! rick down 9 %
This is probably a noob's question, but how does your chart compare the price of VCGH to RICK @ $22 when VCGH never has reached above the price level of $16?
it is not a noob question at all.. i posted the incorrect chart.. so you are correct I am posting the spread chart along with this spread now 17.62 up 50 cents per share
Wrong again mr. shadow!!!!!!!!! the play was outright shorting your rick or fading your call.. or doing a spread like i did1 Jay Looks like in the longer term timeframe, I was right. RICK is going up and VCGH is going nowhere. Like I said, there is no play here in this cheap shit stock unless big volume steps in and shows some interest. Now that the downtrend is more of a confirmed break, RICK should move to $26 at prior highs. Doesn't bother me at all that we got stopped out though, we traded it properly according to our rules and timeframe. One thing to note is that when the 20ma fails to hold your next stop is the 50, which in this case held it perfectly and was the launching point for a stronger move than the little one that e played off the 20.
