String Theory Co-Founder: Sub-Atomic Particles are Evidence the Universe Was Created

Discussion in 'Politics' started by FortuneTeller, Jun 20, 2016.

  1. No it doesn't. In fact it adheres to it.

Nothing is created or destroyed, matter and energy are interchangeable. These are principles of physics and observed in the real world.

In fact, it makes more sense that the stuff of the universe simply always. It has only changed form.

We have an observational bias of our local world that seems to tell us that things come and go, however closer examination reveals it not to be true. They just change form.

    The universe always was.

that is utter and complete bollocks because you are talking about completely unrelated issues. I claimed it violates the laws of physics to claim matter can just be there. It has to get there by an impacting force. Where did you get your education?

  3. No, really, it's not. Nowhere in science does it say things appear out of nowhere from nothing. In fact it says the opposite. Please show me where it does not.

Just because you have trouble with the concept it it no way changes the fact that the stuff of the universe always was.

Look up "law of conservation of matter and energy".

Here, I did it for you...

The law of conservation of mass or principle of mass conservation states that for any system closed to all transfers of matter and energy, the mass of the system must remain constant over time, as system mass cannot change quantity if it is not added or removed. Hence, the quantity of mass is "conserved" over time.

dude you are equally confused as your comrade. I was the one who said "things do not appear out of nowhere". It has been my point all along. There is a creator because the thesis that matter appears out of nowhere violates the law of physics.

And I am repeating myself in saying you are suddenly changing topics. Nobody talked about a closed system. And even if there is a closed system that system has to be placed there. When you have a closed circuit and cause a chemical reaction withing that closed circuit without allowing any matter to exit or enter the closed circuit then the total mass remains unchanged. That is all your cited lines are saying. It is completely unrelated to our argument.

  5. Yes matter/energy does not appear out of nowhere. Like the universe, it always was.

The only seeming exception is with quantum entanglement, where a particle can appear out of nowhere. But that is only possible because somewhere else it's entangled partner vanishes.

you still don't get the point it seems (not even the one you yourself tried to make). Matter only stays constant in a closed circuit system. When you put up an experiment in lab class inside a glass that is sealed then anything within, regardless of the chemical reactions within, will hold the same mass. But the glass has to be put into the lab room in the first place. The matter did not get there by itself nor was it always there. Matter always originates from somewhere. Mass only stays constant in a closed circuit system. It would be preposterous of you to now deduce that the universe is a closed circuit system given the whole universe has never even been defined by human kind given our limited abilities and understanding of it.

The universe IS a creator. You're saying 'not that creator' which tripped you up head over tits into infinite regress.

  8. Yes by definition the universe, being all there is, is a closed system.

I will agree that the idea of something always being and always having been, is not one that is easily comprehended. Again, this is due to our observation bias in out local lives seeing things come and go. Babies are born, people die, the seasons change, our cell phone battery runs out.

But a deeper look at all these things reveals that there is more to it than that. We are just witnessing changes in form. We are watching the universe unfold and refold. With us riding the wave.

Apparently, in systems theory/thinking/science, a new term/concept now coined as "closed circuit system" has been just created today by its creator on ET forums for the science world to learn about its existence! :)
