conduit said: biblical believes in no way contradict science. So far science has not disproven a single thing of the account of creation as portrayed in the Bible. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- QUOTE="trendlover, No. The bible contradict the science. Look. Humans are created separate from "creatures" in the bible. But I show you the link to christians concede, to agree the science show evolution of humans through genetics. 20Then God said, “Let the waters teem with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the open expanse of the heavens.” 21God created the great sea monsters and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarmed after their kind, and every winged bird after its kind; and God saw that it was good. 22God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.” 23There was evening and there was morning, a fifth day. 24Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures after their kind: cattle and creeping things and beasts of the earth after their kind”; and it was so. 25God made the beasts of the earth after their kind, and the cattle after their kind, and everything that creeps on the ground after its kind; and God saw that it was good. 26Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” 29Then God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you; 30and to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the sky and to every thing that moves on the earth which has life, I have given every green plant for food”; and it was so. 31God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.
that makes zero scientific sense. Your "it was always there" pretty much violates any fundamental laws of physics.
of course it is possible my friend. The second there is proof that this world was created by some collision of particles/gases and when such proof provides an explanation where such matter came from I will stop believing in God and I am pretty certain most Christians would. After all nobody wants to believe in disproven claims. Of course is Hawking (imho one of the most miserable and pityful person on earth) horny like a dog in heat to disprove anything related to God. He will die a miserable man with the knowledge how much of his intelligence he wasted for pursuits that will turn out to be worthless.
I do not care how "some Christians concede". There are stupid Christians and smart ones, there are Christians who take their faith seriously and live according to biblical standards and there are those who call themselves Christians and thats it. Same with muslims, same with atheists, construction workers or wall street professionals. Why should I pay attention to some misguided believers. Do you want me to pull out a list of the 10 most stupid claims made up by some completely retarded atheists and accuse you of being of such low intellect? Let's keep this exchange at a reasonably intelligent level please. By the way if you wanna watch a take on biblical truths and God's design in the context of homosexuality then I recommend you to watch the following (am not at all alluding to your sexual orientation, just giving an example that not all Christian material you may have come across must be of low intellectual standard). You seem to want to pick some dummies that dont live by their faith, maybe you can balance it out with someone who does live by his faith and is intelligent to articulate himself as well: this:
A good example of kind words said by loving believers that would keep others away from their believing of Jesus! Hence many people lost the chance/attempt of understanding more about the truth revealed by Jesus! Very well done indeed! As a conduit of faith!
ha, I accept all possibilities given they represent a minimum level of plausibility. Matter out of nowhere simply gets you a failed grade in any physics exam from elementary school all the way into a PhD program.
I didn't say matter out of nowhere, although a vast majority of the universe is dark matter, I said our definition of life may go all the way down to the subatomic level.
