I stand in awe of your thought provoking rebuttal. Your intellectual prowess is obviously in full force today. In any event, did Bush's speech rattle you enough to switch to a poverty discussion?
Max, Have you ever thought about applying for a job as ambassador to a third world country? Perhaps there is good work for you as a diplomat or an orator for the U.N.?
If I was going to, I would, instead of endlessly talking about it. Your check to the broker "clear" yet, or is it still "in the mail?"
It got held up at the bank if you are really interested. If you want further details, you're just going to have to subscribe to my weekly newsletter.
I'd be careful about quoting stats like these. Most of them I can easily dispute from personal levels within my own extended family because they describe themselves with some of these symptoms as they drive away in the new Lexus. I can probably find an expert with a counter position to each and every one of your stats. Rather than look into government coffers and hands for the answers, I believe we can solve most of these troubles out in the real world. No matter what the solution though, the first answer still must originate within the person suffering. That answer goes to the question: Do I need to do something differently to improve my situation?
Unfortunately, the answer for many is to hope for larger benefits. Another thing not addressed by those statistics is the fraud that is endemic to the welfare system in this country.
Lol, I've read TigerO's "facts", he he, what a joke. Good thing only brainwashed lefties believe his "facts". The one thing I don't understand is why he is on this web site in the first place. Why is a socialist that hates america on an american trading web site ? Maybe the commune kicked him out and he has nothing better to do.
The sadder piece is that most of what the public does will not trigger any fraud rules. They can skirt the benefits and max out the returns without any violations whatsoever.
