  3. By the way I just read the excellent article posted by kicking and written by Noam Chomsky... Have you read it... This guy summed up the situation in a clearly and understandable way without using silly propaganda...

I really admire this man and he really represent the real american spirit. Not the fools that are manipulating the people with terms such as they hate us crusade of the civilised world on the uncivilised.......

What I said earlier Justice is the key. Without justice all this violence

  6. http://www.salon.com/news/col/scheer/2002/09/04/cheney/index.html

Cheney, though, is unmoved by voices of moderation. He even argues that the return of U.N. weapons inspectors to Iraq, something the U.S. and our allies have been demanding for years, would only strengthen Hussein.

Perhaps the veep is worried that the inspectors might not find the weapons of mass destruction that he, almost alone, is convinced are already operational.

As for the CEO-in-handcuffs nightmare, it would be wrong to deny Cheney the presumption of innocence in any of the possible violations by Halliburton being pursued by the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Cheney also might be wondering whether he wasn't a bit too greedy in grabbing an $18-million profit on the sale of his Halliburton shares shortly before the stock tanked. Whether it was insider trading or just luck, the timing looks bad; no wonder, then, that a CNN poll showed only 11 percent of Americans believed that the vice president was telling the truth about his Halliburton history.

Maybe the elusive Cheney has a bunch of good explanations for all of this bad-smelling stuff. Until he decides to publicly share them, however, his passion on Iraq will remind many of us of the old saying that patriotism is the last refuge of scoundrels.

For Cheney and his embattled cohorts in the White House, facing a potential second recession in their first term, peace is just too risky. Better to go back to sleep and dream of war.

  7. Traderfut, do have any notion at all of what FACTS are? or do you think that just cutting and pasting any mixture of ad hominem attacks will count as compelling argument...

take a long hard look at your OWN culture (arab/islam) and FRENCH politicians while your at it...although you might be shocked by what you find...

  9. You say you have arguments and facts and all you say is Arab hate us and palestinian are evil and muslim are fanatics...

This is a class B Arnold Schwarzeneger Movie.. and if you don't have something rock solid instead of :

The muslim hate us so we should kill them, then I would answer to you sorry but you are really dumb and stupid and I don't want to continue this discussion.

This question about what do you think of Noam Chomsky was adressed to Rs7 not to you. and yes I believe Noam is a great thinker and taht the US needs more people like him. He is in search of the truth and his words were those of a very wise man not Dick Cheney ones..

I was quite astonished by the words of Rs7 regarding palestinians and I found he was not objective and fair...

As I said before I am arab muslim and I certainly have more respect for human being than you... I don't want to kill people because they are apparently hating me... And I can tell you that I was victim of racism several times.. But it only sthrenghtened me and I know how to differenciate between idiots and ok guys...

My friends are from all confession and nationalities and this is what it should be for any modern man...

  10. Traderfut, you are so lost in what you BELIEVE (no matter how irrational such beliefs are) that you cannot even for one minute consider the fact that you might be wrong and that there could be other, objective, ways of looking at the situation. That is your greatest folly.
