It 's like saying american catholics are giving money to the IRA terrorists or that american jews are financing the fanatic israeli settlers.... that does bring nothing to the table except the fact that you are one sided.... I never said muslim did not finance Al quaida. I said on 1 billion people belive me you wil find a lot of charlot .... If on top of that Interntioanl Law is not respected and violated then you will give those idiots the means for their action.... If you don't those simple basic things then I cannot do anything for you.. I thought that you Babak were a moderator so play your fair role of moderator... Like a judge use facts not your heart.. even you are pro I don't what I don't care.... I am for justice and fairness and I cannot agree with people that are criticizing palestinian like they do and give a pass to whatever action Israel make..
Assuming that terrorist acts are cheerleaded by muslims all over the world means that I am also financing that stuff.... Come on!!! be a bit realistic and open minded.. There are one billion Muslim on the planet and I don't believe they are all perfect... Anyway I never said that anything that pertains to Islam is good and everything else is bad... Just your interpretation, which I believe is false... I just answered Rs7 accusations over Palestinians. I strongly believe that Israel violates international Law and approving Sharon acts is like approving the acts of a criminal... I never mentioned Islam here... just in your imagination... Moreover, and that's why I posted several texts written by non muslims, Desmond Tutu, Mrs Blair.... there are numerous people (non-muslim) that believe that what Sharon does is criminal... My intent by posting texts written by non-muslim was to not being accused wrongly of bias toward Islam.. Even Israelis are against Sharon acts⦠On this forum I am non Muslim, non Arab, non European .... I am just a man âseeking peace and justiceâ. And I think that what we should all be seeking justice⦠and as a Bahai persecuted in Iran you should not accept that others suffer the way you have suffered. I was a victim of racism, that does not mean that I hate all white people because many of them were racists⦠I also had harsh remarks when I first arrived in Europe and I was not welcomed. Looking for a job was not that easy for me. I remember all the students I was with having interviews and my CV was the only one always rejected⦠I sent hundred cvs and received just no answers. I did not understand since I was a hard working person, motivated and the best in my field⦠But I fought and found the job of my dreams because I worked 10 times harder than the others and I was the best⦠Am I racist hell no. I employ white people and even when I have to choose between an Arab, a Black or a white guy, I will always choose the person that is the most able to do the job. I try to be objective and focus on the intrinsic qualities of the individual not his religion, faith, colourâ¦â¦ I hired East Europeans, Indians, blacks and Europeansâ¦. I think I just hired one Muslim J
rs7 - check the link I posted 5 or 6 posts up - it's a good discussion of the orgins and foundation for the story, and gives the media's response to the allegation...
This is not the point at all. We hopefully are not going to war at all. And certainly not with the Palestinians that were celebrating an attack on NY. The point is that we have a mentality to deal with. These people are programmed to hate anything "western". It is incumbent upon us to manage a way of lifting the veil of lies and addressing the hatred instilled within these people by their selfish and unjust leaders. The only real effective way to accomplish this is with education and money. But the dilemma becomes how to get this done. We cannot go in and set up schools. We cannot even grant money for education; for even if we tried, the money would never reach it's intended destination. Or it's intended use. So we live within international law, and grant these foreign leaders their sovereignty. Their power continues to feed off the hatred of their citizens and the oil money out of our pockets. What is the solution? War? ...With whom? Support and education?... How? Political negotiation and appeasement?.... Hasn't worked so far. Covert intervention? Destabilization?.... Illegal. So it is just very scary to see these people dancing in the streets celebrating our losses. There is a whole mentality to deal with and we have no effective method of doing it. It is important that we saw that footage. It is important to know how a large part of the world sees us. And how they feel about us. It is a threat to us, and we must at least stay vigilant and attentive to it. It DOES MATTER! And it is a situation that will improve or worsen. It will not remain teetering on the edge forever. Something's got to give. Peace, Rs7
It really is a terrible shame that a subject as incredibly crucial as this (to ALL of us) simply cannot be discussed rationally for more than a few minutes without degenerating into personal attacks, racism, and religious indignation. I don't mean that as a slight to the posters here -- it is true everywhere. Like abortion or the Second Amendment, it is a polarizing situation, and I have found very few people willing to admit that there is some middle ground, much less that a reasonable person could embrace their opponent's point of view... That kind of intolerance of opinion, willful ignorance, and stubborness, on the part of ALL parties, are not only symptoms of, but also causes of this problem. No amount of bombs or fighter planes or suicide attacks or world summits or debate or appeals to history or whatever can fix this problem as long as people propagate this mindset. And truthfully, it seems rather hopeless.
traderfut2000, you have to decide if you are a peace loving muslim that accepts the western way of life, or whether you think that Islamic terrorism is justified by the treatment of palestinians. You can't have it both ways. If you believe that the U.S. deserved to be attacked, then just come out and say it if you have the guts.
This is what you want me to say because this is what usually american wants to belive.... And I have the guts also to disppoint you but No I was not happy when the terrorists attacks happened on september 11 on the contrary I was very sad and I knew that it would a period of trouble for the whole humanity thanks to a guy like Bush.. Now I am sorry to disappoint you but I can be against the attacks and understand the despair of palestinians...
who knows???? maybe palestinians and israelis both celebrated the attacks..... but what good does that do us now... as americans we need to put our country first and protect americans, not blow up a bunch of third world countries and pretend that we've defeated "the bad guys". there are jewish americans and arab americans and we all need to put this country FIRST!!!!!!!!!
Exactly, I agree Rs7 refers to "these people our programmed to hate anything "western"." Who are these people??? The French..... Anyways I was just saying don't believe everything ya read or may think you saw....most of those people chanting were just out chanting; they may or may not have hate for the US... Are you going to tell me that all the people rioting after Rodney King,,,Where there because of Rodney..
