Hello there, I have been recently wondering about some of the ways a smaller research organization can join a larger company (a financial institution) in a sprategic research alliance. For instance, 1) a smaller research firm may create and manage portfolios at its own (small company office). 2) a smaller company may be an addition to a larger company woring in the office of a large company. etc... Can anyone help me understand what other partnership scenarios may be useful to consider between a smaller research entity and a larger financial institution? What would be the terms and conditions of those partnerships? What are the major steps a smaller company needs to take to make it possible with a larger company.
