I believe realitytrader.com offers a refund of the monthly subscription if the calls don't make money. The one problem I have with that, is that if it gets to the last day or two of the monthly cycle and if the calls for that cycle have not made money, there may be a temptation on the part of room leader to swing for the fences. If they know that they are going to lose a whole months income then it would make sense to try and make up the losses in a day or two, with the possible outcome of putting more than the monthly subscription on the line for the members. Apart from that, it seems like a genuine effort to give a guarantee of sorts.
Actually RT (index trading room) is what I was referring to in my previous post - but they don't refund your sub, they just give you next the month's sub free if they dont reach their profit objective. As I agree with your "shoot for the fences" concern - the flip side of that is if the room leader is ahead for the month and its getting towards the end he may start getting very conservative on his calls to make sure he doesn't blow the month. Like I said previously, I appreciate that he's putting his $ on the line but the monthly room cost ends up being pretty small compare to one extra profitable (or blown) trade.
thats a very intresting method. thxs for your input. the reason i was intrigued w/ these folks: they said that they will trade their own account live...w/ proper time to make setups and then take the trade. imo the biggest issue would be slippage--but if one is testing w/ 1 or 2 contracts--it might be worth it. more comments appreciate....
