dude! this is my day if i trade: out of bed 9-10 am depending on the night before. breakfast, get some fresh air, insult some neo-cons on et, check e-mail news etc. healthy lunch at 12.30. mental exercises for 20 min, then i start trading between 13.20-17.00. usually i am done before. i dont day trade that long because life is too short. after 17:00 i insult some more neo-cons for another 30 min on et (i get a lot of smiles winding those brainless jerks up!). then i update my logs etc. 19:00 im on my way out for the evening - maybe dinner with some mates, pub/bar etc. if ive done really well i may go to a club, get hammered, do some drugs, get jiggy wid da honeys etc - in which case i probably wont trade the next day. if i dont do out on a bender, im usually back in bed by midnight. yes i sleep usually for a good 8-9 hours. i sleep like a baby. oh, what do i wear? clothes! shirt, slacks or jeans. im not wearing any socks at the moment (jfyi) sometimes i may wear a rubber gimp suit if its cold.
5:00 (cst) get up, shower, shave, dress in the usual blue shirt and khakis. 5:30 eat breakfast, watch bloomberg tv for europe and asia action. 6:00 hit PACE parknride to Lisle metra 6:26 Metra express to union station 7:05 at the BOT firing up the TT and charts! Its like going to work at a factory. Only you dont come home smelling like chemicals and the only thing you do is make sure the one line in the little box on the lower right corner of your screen is green by the end of the day!!!!
Today sucks..........I'm bored. Good Friday is not being good to me... to add insult to injury the weekend is going to feel longer. A few months ago the weekends were my favorite days of the week..... now they are more like a prison cell. I want market action!
Body automatically wakes up at 4:50 am (West Coast). Go downstairs in PJ's Turn on coffee pot Look outside and smile, it's raining...good, no guilt. Fire up dual monitor desktop and 1 laptop. Check news, turn on CNBC Talking Heads, listen for a while then mute, especially when Pissani's on. Drink lotsa coffee, Smoke lotsa cigs....check premarket action, economic releases, get anti acids chewables if required. Wash Face, Brush hair, Get Brain in gear, make a plan. Put in buy and sell orders. Over at 1pm West Coast, shower, shave, dress, go out and enjoy the day! Running 70-80% return per year.
