Fair enough. But there's not going to be a wall, even paid by Mexico, and there's not going to be a mass round up of illegals, either. He's out of his logistical league.
Sorry, I don't agree. A border wall isn't some architectural masterpiece like the Great Wall of China. It can, and will be done, if Trump gets in. Now, it's highly unlikely Mexico will write a check for it, but Trump feels he can get the money back in other ways.
Freddie, You do have to understand that I'll point out flaws then they're flaws. I'm not just going to point out stuff just because you think it's a flaw. Your word doesn't exactly mean monkey piss.
No? He's the self-proclaimed master builder. He's been talking about building a wall for quite some time now. What changed during that time to explain the very disparate cost estimates?
the people want a wall. Maybe not a physical wall, but a President who says there should be a wall. The people don't want illegal immigration to be a punishless crime. This has nothing to do with reality. For crying out loud, I am a libertarian and want an open border. But like the people, I want all illegal immigration ended and punished. You do know there never was an actual Iron Curtain?
His poor understanding in math, maybe? Who knows? Pulling numbers out of his ass? But his position never changed on building a wall. I know you're out there looking for the conjunctions and prepositions in his statements to prove your point, but it's not going to prove his position changed. It just proves that he's horrible at spouting off figures.
Mine does to me, sure. The difference here, is that you're trying to tell me how I should think. I'm just fine with you thinking the way you do.
Trump Endorses Closing the Border After Brussels, Flip-Flops an Hour Later by Alex Griswold | 11:22 am, March 23rd, 2016 "Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump endorsed completely closing the borders after the Brussels terrorist attacks Tuesday. He also endorsed not closing the borders after the Brussels terrorist attacks Tuesday. "Here’s Trump on Fox & Friends at 7:30 AM ET, (transcription courtesy of Townhall): “I would close up our borders to people until we figure out what is going on. Look at Brussels, look at Paris, look at so many cities that were great cities. Paris is almost as bad. If you look at Paris – Paris is no longer the city of lights. Paris has got a lot of problems. And all you have to do is speak to the people who live there. You look at other places where this same thing has happened.” "But when asked about his comments an hour later by CBS News’ digital network, Trump denied he said any such thing: “I didn’t say shut it down. I said you have to be very careful. We have to be very, very strong and vigilant at the borders. We have to be tough. We have people who are coming into our country who are undocumented. We have no idea who they are or where they come from. They could be ISIS-related.” "Watch above, via Fox News and CBS." More, with videos >>
