12/13/2009 -- Residents who live near Churchill Downs said a crash ended in a fit of road rage. Police said a Jeep was involved in a crash with another vehicle, and eventually struck the front steps of a home at Arcade and Weyler avenues. "I heard a boom. I looked outside and a Latino gentleman hit this man's vehicle and sent him into the house. The Latino gentleman opened the door and started beating the man senseless," resident Mike Thompson said. Witnesses said the assailant fled on foot and left his Mitsubishi SUV parked along Weyler Avenue. There's no word on the condition of the victim.
