Quite so. And after he paid the aforementioned whore for "services rendered" he gave her another $130,000.00 just to shut the frig up. Still not enough. As you said - a clear lack of professionalism.

Daniels’s federal defamation lawsuit alleges officers conspired to retaliate against the adult film actor because of her claims she had sex with Donald Trump before he became president. The four officers named in the lawsuit were Trump supporters who saw an opportunity to defame Daniels after they learned she planned to perform at Sirens men’s club, according to the lawsuit, filed by Daniels’ attorney, Michael Avenatti, a frequent Trump critic who at one time considered running for president. The officers “believed that Ms Clifford was damaging President Trump and they thereafter entered into a conspiracy to arrest her during her performance in Columbus in retaliation for the public statements she had made regarding President Trump”, the lawsuit alleges.
Trump probably hopes that she wins because as you may recall, the court ordered her to pay his legal fees from her bogus lawsuit against him, and she needs to get the money somewhere, somehow. Probably a gofundme site to "help me pay my debt to Donald Trump" is not going to raise much among lefties.
As Law&Crime’s Ronn Blitzer predicted just after the arrest–and as Daniels’ erstwhile attorney Michael Avenatti immediately noted to authorities–the initially used to charge and arrest Daniels only applied to an “employee who regularly appears nude or seminude on the premises.” Since Daniels was at Sirens making a special appearance–and was in no way an employee of the club–the officers who arrested her acted in error, according to prosecutors. Months later, the Columbus Police Department reached the exact same conclusion. This full-on cop volte-face, however, isn’t quite the end of it. Mea culpas aren’t always enough. As Law&Crime previously reported, a whistleblower at the department insists that the police were there specifically because of Daniels. “It is clear that Keckley and her fellow officers were there because of Stormy and only because of Stormy,” the whistleblower told a local news outlet. “The emails definitely show that the police lied about it being a prostitution and human trafficking mission.” Earlier this year, Daniels filed a $2 million defamation lawsuit against the department. The officers who arrested her “believed that Ms. Clifford was damaging President Trump and they thereafter entered into a conspiracy to arrest her during her performance in Columbus in retaliation for the public statements she had made regarding President Trump,” her lawsuit claims. Law&Crime reached out to Avenatti for additional comment on this story but no response was forthcoming at the time of publication.
trumpers take another L as the rule of law is upheld: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-new...00-settlement-over-arrest-ohio-strip-n1059676 Stormy Daniels to receive $450,000 settlement over arrest at Ohio strip club The porn star claimed in her suit that officers arrested her in a bid to protect President Donald Trump. Porn star Stormy Daniels settled her lawsuit against the city of Columbus, Ohio, over her arrest last year at a strip club, officials said Friday. Daniels will receive $450,000 and drop all claims made in her federal civil complaint against the city, according to her attorney, Chase Mallory, and a spokeswoman for City Attorney Zach Klein. Her lawyer said that Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, could have reached a settlement for more than $450,000, but she was satisfied with changes implemented by the Columbus Police Department following her arrest. “That’s the only reason she agreed to settle the case for what she did,” Mallory told NBC News. “Her main goal was to make sure people weren’t going to be treated like she was going forward.” Mallory credited both the Columbus police chief, Thomas Quinlan, and the city attorney's office, saying, “They have really done a great job of addressing the problems here.” The settlement still has to be formally ap
